Overview
[edit]The Fujifilm X-E2 camera is a rangefinder-style digital mirrorless Compact System Camera developed by Fujifilm Corporation and manufactured in Japan.
The camera was announced on the 18 October 2013 [1] and started shipping soon after.
Main features
[edit]- fast autofocus speed of 0.08 seconds
- a faster XCR Processor - doubling the speed of the previous EXR Processor Pro (found in the X-Pro1 and X-E1
- an original colour filter array to reduce moire - replacing the optical low pass filter which you would commonly find on the majority of digital cameras
- Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO) processing for XF lenses
- OLED electronic viewfinder
- full manual controls, including: aperture ring, shutter speed dial on the camera's top plate.
- Increased exposure compensation controls to +/- 3 EV
- four customisable buttons on the top and back of the camera
