HSI (Holiday Systems International) is a privately owned company, based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Founded in 1993 by Craig Morganson[1], it is now one of the largest vacation exchange companies. HSI has a member base of over 300,000, as well as affiliated resorts in many countries around the world [2].
Corporate structure
[edit]HSI's CEO and President is Craig Morganson. HSI's corporate headquarters is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Currently, HSI's biggest competitors in the timeshare market are Interval International [3] and Group RCI [4].
Business model
[edit]Sometimes confused as being a Timeshare or Vacation Ownership company, HSI operates strictly as both a Vacation Exchange (including Travel Exchange) and hotel/resort reservation company[5].
Associations
[edit]HSI has close ties and associations to several organizations including PETA[6] and AMDETUR[7]. HSI has also been a sponser of ARDA since 2002.
Awards
