Glorious Jubilee is a piece of Australian Opal mined from Lightening Ridge, that has been verified by GIA with approximate weight of 755 carats. This has also been verified by an opal expert, Len Cram, who has published over 50 books about opals and opals history in the world. He has made a comment that there isn't any other opal could have similar color base, and weights as Glorious Jubilee. This piece of opal is dark gray base, black opal with brilliant multiple-play of colors. The longest point is 106mm with widest point of 84.5mm. Tibor Shelley is the owner of this opal since 2009; and he is also one of the pioneers in the opal industry. This is considered to be the largest australian black opal in its kind. Approximate retail value per carats can reach U$25000/carats for its uniqueness in size, color, and rareness.
