It is in the east of the city, near the omonimous road that links to the nearby Linate airport.

History

In July 2012 costruction works started; the station was opened on November the 26th 2022, in spite of having being ready for more than a year: the delayed opening was due to predicted low numbers of passenger, following the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic, which greatly reduced Linate airport passengers [1][2].

Interchanges

The metro station allows for an interchange with Milano Forlanini railway station, served by lines S5, S6 and S9 of Milan suburban railway network.

ATM tram line 27 and bus line 45 have stops nearby the metro station.
