Willie Hensley Willie Hensley is an Alaskan politician/native rights activist. He was born in 1941 in a small community in Northwest Alaska. He attended George Washington University where he got a degree in political science and economics, he also wrote some of his famous essays such as ‘What rights to Land have the Alaska Natives: The Primary Issue” during his time at university. He then went on to serve in the house of Representatives which catapulted his political career.[1]
