[edit]Being a mother is the most important work I do.
I learned how to do this from other parents while playing with my children at Playcentre, a provider of early childhood education (birth to 6yr). But Playcentre is much, much more. There is an adult education programme, friendship and support. And as a cooperative the families learn how to play and work together.
Now, I help to administer the education programme nationally and am a Playcentre tutor/facilitator. I do so that Playcentre is around for the next generation of children and their whānau.
