M Iqbal Hossain (born February 2, 1974) is a Islamic Scholar, Interfaith motivator, columnist and an academic in Bangladesh. He is the current Professor of Islamic University, Bangladesh.

[edit]Hossain was born in Dharabanda, Monohordi, Narsingdi, Bangladesh. He received his Bachelor of Theology & Islamic Studies from the Islamic University, Bangladesh in 1993, graduating with honours. He received his Master of Theology & Islamic Studies from the Islamic University, Bangladesh in 1994, and his Ph.D. from the same university in 2004. He did his higher study in theology from the university of London and post graduate certificate(PGC) in human rights law from the University of East London, United Kingdom.
He is the professor of the Department of D`awah and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University, Bangladesh, in Kushtia, and is active in research and academic matters home and abroad.[1] He invited as key note speaker [2] and moderator in national and international workshops and conference [3]
