Roberto Aiello is a high technology entrepreneur who specializes in wireless communications. He is one of the significant figure in the field of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. He founded two Venture backed UWB companies. He developed UWB at Interval Research, Paul Allen's technology incubator. He lobbied the FCC, US Congress and US Senate to achieve UWB spectrum. The FCC issued the Report and Order on Feb 14th 2002, allowing the biggest portion of spectrum ever allowed for unlicensed use.
