Possible articles to research

[edit]

Ableism

I have chosen this article because it is well-known to my discipline:Disabled persons; and is weakly represented on Wikipedia. There are two notifications, one being a warning banner (lacks worldwide view of the subject), and the other is a notification on a possible merge within the page. There are five out of six WikiProjects are considered start class on the Wikipedia's internal quality scale. This article is not a very broad topic, but needs to be improved.

Prosthesis

This article is also very well-known to my discipline and needs help with improvements to strengthen its representation on Wikipedia. This article's warning banner indicates that the article relies too much on referenced to primary sources, and contains content written like an advertisement. This article is not very broad, nor highly controversial.

Mobility scooter

This article is heavily tied to my research discipline. It also needs help with improvements, such as, the lead section needs to be improved so that it adequately summarizes key points of its contents. This article is not highly controversial, nor very broad. The article is also rated as Start-Class on the project's quality scale.

Wheelchair ramp

This article is heavily tied to my research discipline. It's not a highly controversial, nor a very broad topic. This page's warning banner indicates that the article may not represent a worldwide view of the subject. It's also rated as Start-Class on the project's quality scale.

Nonverbal communication

This article ties with the communication aspect of my discipline. This article's banner indicates that it's written like a personal reflection or opinion essay. This is not a very broad topic.

Motor-Impaired Users

I want to create this page from scratch. There is not a page for this, and I wish to research not only the transportation aspect for those who are disabled, but also their experience with employment, whether it's unemployment or employed.
