Concrete examples of album covers with adequate rationale & sourcing?
[edit]Could you please point me to some specific, real examples of album cover images currently in Wikipedia with fair use rationales etc. that you consider sufficient to put them "in the clear" as far as you and your bot are concerned? It would be extremely helpful to me. I think that such guidance would also be appreciated by the many other editors who have had their images challenged/purged and are trying to make them comply. Thanks, InnocuousPseudonym 00:07, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- Image:Adam Faith.jpg has an ok rationale, Image:Al Jolson Jazz Singer.JPG is a good example of a rationale. and see this for a general outline. Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 00:21, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- After looking through ~100 images, some had a rationale for one page they were used on but were used on more than the one page the rationale covered, or having no rationale. I found one

Fair Use Rationale for <article name here>
[edit]- The material should not be used in a manner that would imply endorsement by or for the logo's respective company
- No free equivalent will ever be available or could be created that would adequately give the same information.
- The image is of low resolution, which does not interfere with this logo by its respective company in trade
- The image used for educational and informational purposes by Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organization.
- <why should we have the image in the article>
- that is a simple fairuse rational that would work for most logos. Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 13:59, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
