CricDraft is the given name of 'The Cricket Draft' or 'Draft Based Cricket Game' by Masud Vorajee. This game and website was developed in PHP and MySQL by V3+ Web Solutions, in 2009/2010. ( BETA Version )

Idea of Cricket Draft Game came from a movie where the lead actor used to escape from his house to play fantasy draft game. Later the similar games were found on portals like www.cricketweb.net and decision to convert a simple forum game into a portal sprung through Masud's mind and he decided to develop this game in-house.

Cric Draft is a very simple game played by multiple people. Community owners or forum owners do announce the game at their end and enjoy the same on CricDraft.com

The person who starts the game is called 'Game Manager' who manages the particular game. He, after starting the game invites his friends across Social sites like Facebook, Orkut to join the started game. Upon approval the game can be started at the decided time. Game Manager can decide on the country wise, game wise, player wise limitations as well.

Every team or participant picks their player every round upon their turn. At the end of Round 1, ALL participants would end up with one player in their team. Game keeps rolling till the last round which can be Round 11, Round 12 or whatever the 'Game Manager' decided at the start of the game. By the end of last round, each team or participant would then have a full team ready for judges or voters.

The winner can be decided by the criteria set by the group of people who played the game. Voting, rating, statistics, team dynamics, balance are some of the criteria which are used to decide the winner of the Draft Game.
