Dr Inderjeet Singh is an exceptional individual and has always been a symbol of excellence in thele education field. Besides getting enrolled in a renowned secondary school and university, he has also received prestigious awards such as Dean’s List Award and Academic Excellence Book Prize - Malaysian Cancer Council (Makna) Cancer Research Award, to name a few. He has successfully published 7 scientific research papers for international journals and conferences.
Dr Inderjeet Singh has 15 years of experience in education operations, and he has headed the entire academic, examination and overall operation planning, execution and monitoring. Under his wing many organisation including SJIS has shown tremendous growth and development.
Being in the academic field for more than a decade, Dr Inderjeet is an expert in teaching Chemistry and Biology to SPM and A-Level students, where 80% of his students would secure an A for their examinations. He is a firm believer that education needs to be modernised and integrated rather than compartmentalised. This concept has been implemented under his leadership when he integrated the IGCSE syllabus Key Stage 4 to the Lower Secondary syllabus Key Stage 3, for four non-core subjects which were ICT, Geography, History and Physical Education, in SJIS. He has also introduced Character and Value Education syllabus, digitalised education management system (EMS) and removing the streaming practices for student’s way back in 2012.
Dr Inderjeet Singh is truly an exemplary figure in the academic field, by maintaining the reputation as a good student, a great researcher, an even better educator and an outstanding leader! Dr.Inderjeet is currently the Assistant Vice President for Academic and Operations is responsible for Strategic Development of the Private/International Schools, Higher Education Institutions, and Tuition Centres operations/expansion, ensuring the absolute highest quality of teaching and learning is accessible to all students, promote the shared understanding of the whole school /institution vision within faculty areas and curriculum. He is entrusted to lead the operations and academic team toprovide smooth, efficient and effective operational support for the schools and institutions. He is also responsible to provide strategic leadership in formulating, developing, and executing strategies and programmes as part of the overall strategic direction of the schools and institutions. In his current role he ensure all guidelines from Government, - Ministry of Education/Higher Education and Head office are adhered to. To evaluate and advice on the long-range planning of new programmes /strategies and regulatory action as it impacts the attraction, motivation, development, productivity, performance and retention of the people resources of the School and institution.
