Aasan R. Rajendran is an Indian varmakkalai practitioner, martial artist and stunt choreographer. He choreographed the actor Kamal Hassan in the 1996 Tamil-language film Indian directed by S. Shankar.^[1]He has been teaching this art to many students in Madurai, not only for self-defence but also for healing.^[1]. Aasan Rajendran has been practicing this art for the past 50 years.^[2]
