Metapedianism
[edit]In early days (2007–09) I was an active editor in Russian Wikipedia. I managed to make amendments to their criteria for speedy deletion, namely to port У.3 from English U2 and to establish two new criteria for redirects (later codified as П.4 and П.5). Later I disappointed in written policies of ru.wikipedia because they are enforced poorly.
In English Wikipedia I am also interested in WP:CSD and abatement of its misuse. For example:
I also contributed to numerous discussions on various topics and started several ones myself, for example:
- WP:Village pump (idea lab)/Archive 8 #Quality-tracking system, a concept proposal
- WP:Shoot it early, related essay
- WP:Village pump (policy)/Archive 107 #Extend WP:disruptive editing to include an unbearable incompetence
Last two items are not limited to theorizing: I frequently reduce contributions of push-a-random-text or otherwise incompetent editors with my [rollback]. Sometimes I even revert RC patrollers who mistakenly attack valid edits.
