He learnt Indian Classical Singing from Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan and now professionally sings on TV channels, Radio, Music Concerts, Live shows, Private shows, Elite weddings, Charitable shows, Religious places since 1998, 22 years.

His voice is soulful, popularly called as a heartthrob his fans are crazy for his voice and usually identifies worldwide as his Ustad's son and after his Ustad his fans love his voice. He worships his Ustad and also trains his coaches with same ethics and principles to practice, riyaz which will always make them unique among other professionals. In Sanskrit there is a quote suitable for him which states GururBrahma GururVishnu GururDevo Maheshwaraha, Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha, he calls himself Shagird of Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan, following an ages-old Ustad-Shagird tradition and legendary founders of the Patiala-Kasur. Imran Ghulam Ali Khan is a versatile singer, his Genre is Ghazal specialist with Sufi, Qawwali, Classical, Folk . He plays on Vocal and Harmonium.

He had various presentations in Pakistan and also out of the country. He has worked and performed in Pakistani Channels such as HUM TV, ROYAL NEWS, ROSE TV, A TV, P TV, K2 Channel, Soni Dharti, Pakistan Broadcasting, FM 99, FM101, etc. He also performed in PNCA National Art Council Pindi., AL HAMRA HALL and other local Institutions. In 2014 he performed in Mauritius in MGI The Mahatma Gandhi Institute Moka , at the Mauritius Broadcasting Cooperation, Radio and TV. RADIO MAURITIUS (URDU PROGRAM) - TAAL FM Mauritius. In 2016 had great performance in DM CHANNEL, UK BBC TV and A TV CHANNELS. In 2013 was judge ,in Case University Islamabad. In 2012 Imran Ghulam Ali was teaching Music in RUNG SCHOOL OF SUFI MUSIC AND ARTS, He also composed the music of Pakistani Drama such as Rishton Ki Zanjeer, (2013) and Poura Dukh aur Aadha Chand (2012).
