Improv's rules of thumb and other general attempts to be clever and quotable
- The amount of time people spend decorating their userpage (especially with the categorisation boxes) is inversely proportional to the actual value they put into the Wiki
- Groups to do things (e.g. the counter-vandalism unit or typo correction groups) that are naturally solitary activities are normally a waste of time
- People should ideally not be able to tell what ones politics are by the articles one chooses to edit
- Thou shalt edit on a wide variety of topics, lest thou be considered to be on Wikipedia only out of fandom or anger or obsession with that topic
- Thou shalt not edit on articles that relate to a great pain/shame of your family or nation
- Ask advice when unsure
- There are people with good judgement, poor judgement, and the range between on the spectrum. It is all right to assume that people with good judgement make good decisions, but be willing to have that challenged. Be more loyal to good judgement than good people.
