I am Dr. Arun Kumar Agnihotri, Additional Professor in the Department of the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at S.S.R. Medical College, Mauritius. I completed my graduation in medicine (MBBS) from M.L.B. Medical College, in Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh), India in 1994 and post-graduation (MD) in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from M.L.N. Medical College, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), India (1996-1999).
Till date, I have a total of about 12 years of teaching experience, 3 years of toxicology laboratory experience and 15 years of research experience. I have published more than 50 scientific papers in different international and national peer review journals, 40 related to forensic medicine and 10 related to toxicology. I have also written a Booklet on “Scene Investigation” as Associate Editor. I am member of the several professional organizations some of which are ‘World Association of Medical Editors (WAME)’, ‘The International association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT)’, ‘African Union of Risk Management in Preventive Medicine (AURMPM)’, ‘Indian Medical Association (IMA)’, ‘Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (ICFMT)’ and ‘Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM)’. I am also ‘Editor in Chief’ as well as ‘Publisher’ of an electronic international journal “Internet Journal of Medical Update”
