History

Selectica was founded in 1996 and primarily provided configuration engines intended to enable website developers to produce marketing and sales automation applications.1 In 2005, Selectica announced the addition of “Selectica Contract Performance Management,” now Selectica Contract Lifecycle Management, which became the company’s flagship product.2 Over the years, Selectica enhanced and added solutions to create a suite that spans the entire deal process from product configuration, pricing, and quoting (CPQ) to contract renewal. Today, over 100,000 users in over 20 industries utilize Selectica’s solutions.
