Allan Silberhartz

Allan Silberhartz, was born on February 28, 1947, in New York City. Allan Silberhartz started the non-profit, educational Foundation and an International Talk Show called "Bridging Heaven & Earth". Over 270 shows as of______that are shown all over the United States on cable stations and has featured teachers, healers, authors, musicians, painters, singers, and dancers. Some of the guests have included Michael Tamura, Gene Egidio, Jose Arguelles, Samuel Oliner, Gloria Wendroff, Kam Yuen, Zhi Gang Sha, Patrice Karst, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Mark Lamm, Byron Katie, Michael Beckwith, Thom Hartmann, Chris Griscom, Andy Lakey, Ann West-Tickle, Ali Minor, Lama Ole Nydahl, and Patricia Cota Robles.

Alan Silberhartz founded the International Art Project where people from all over the world would create an Art piece of any kind, format, or size based on a theme "Bridging Heaven and Earth". After announcing the Art Project, individuals from all over the world have responded. The art started arriving at the Bridging offices from extremely talented artists to ordinary people and children who had never done any art previously. He served as president and CEO of "Aslan Associates", a financial services company in Maryland, before moving to California.He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in accounting and from the National Law Center at George Washington University. After graduating from law school, he lived on an organic farm and commune in Maryland, where he helped build a house and raise his own food. While there, he learned a meditation technique from an Indian spiritual teacher. Except for a year in Ojai, he has lived in Santa Barbara since 1980.

In 1985 he began to teach meditation and spiritual development. He became close friends with another independent spiritual teacher named Wistancia. In 1995, along with Wistancia and a group of friends, he launched the television show Bridging Heaven and Earth. Silberhartz and his colleagues put together a show that they felt would be positive and uplifting and reflect his own experience of oneness which he had come to feel transcended any particular organizational expression. In the beginning, he and Wistancia served as cohosts, but since 1997 he has been the sole host. By the end of that decade, Bridging Heaven and Earth had become a national show, having been picked up on a many stations. As of 2011, The Bridging Heaven on Earth show has over is now (as of November 2011) shown in over 150 cities across the United States including those in New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Denver, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Reading, and Hamburg in Pennsylvania, Santa Fe, Eugene and Ashland, Oregon, Providence, R.I., Ashville, NC, Fairfield, IA, Saint Paul, MN, and Prescott, AZ, with a heavy penetration in California, including, in addition to San Francisco and Sacramento, Woodland Hills, Santa Barbara, Ojai, Berkeley, Chatsworth, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Oxnard, El Rio, Port Hueneme, Shell Beach, Nipomo, Cambria, Grover Beach, Agoura, Canoga Park, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Marin County, Santa Paula, Westlake Village, Mill Valley, Camarillo, Fillmore, Tiburon, among others.
