About IFBB
For over 20 years, the Institute for Food, Brain and Behaviour (formerly named Natural Justice) has been studying the effect of nutrition on behaviour. Research has now also shown effects of nutrition on memory, literacy and numeracy together with self-control, impulsivity and anti-social behaviour.
Current Studies
Prisons Study
The Wellcome Trust funded [http:\\ http://www.wellcome.ac.uk/Funding/Grants-awarded/index.htm] a study in YOI Hindley, YOI Lancaster Farms and YOI Polmont. Results are expected in early 2012.
Robert Clack School Study
An Esmée_Fairbairn_Foundation funded [http:// http://www.esmeefairbairn.org.uk/grants2009/food.pdf] study into the effect of improved nutrition on the behaviour, cognitive performance and academic achievement of 14-16 year olds.
