A.C Satapathy is the first Author in India to write IAS Physics book from the field of science. He is recognised as a renowned Physics Author in the world. He is the first Author from Asia to write AP physics C Mechanics, which is considered to be one of the most popular examinations in the globe covering more than 100 countries.

He was born in a teachers family, where getting good education was the first priority in life. His father Sri K.C Satapathy was a school teacher from Sunari, Jharsuguda district, Odisha state, India. His mother late Smt. B Satapathy was a house wife.

He did his schooling at Adhapara and higher studies from CET, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
