About Me

A little bit about me, the hobbies I enjoy doing on my free time is crafting with my Cricut, working out, Going on walks, and baking. I work part time and am a full time college student, which keeps me really busy. I also have a German shorthaired pointer (GSP), named Drake who has a lot of energy and thinks he needs all the attention. He keeps us active all the time he enjoys walks/ runs, playing fetch and any other activities.

My Wikipedia Interest

I use wikipedia for some of my homework assignments, as Wikipedia gives you good information on the things that you need information on. I don't see myself really using wikipedia very much after this class. But I do look forward to learning the different things you are able to do on this website, as I never really use Wikipedia unless I am looking for information for something.

Article Evaluation

I chose to look into the Tulalip Tribes, as I am enrolled a Tulalip Tribal Member. I have lived on the reservation most of my life, but have never really looked into learning about my tribe.I visited the Tulalip Tribes article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: A. Is each fact cited with an appropriate, reliable source?, B. Are any of the links dead?, C. Is the article up to date?

After looking over the article about the Tulalip Tribes, I have noticed that the facts that are talked about in the article don't have reliable sources. The article states some good information about the Tulalip Tribe, but it doesn't have any reliable sources to back it up so it's hard to determine whether or not the information is true. Some of the information that is cited is out of date and some of the articles don't show up. This article needs more appropriate reliable sources to support the information talked about.

When trying to click on the links in the article most of them brought me to an article. But the articles are a couple years old, which they should try to update the links. There were a couple links that I clicked on in the article that don't work. It would say "No page found" when clicking on the link. The links that are dead should be removed or updated to a website that works.

The article seems to have some older information that's based off the economy. There should be some kind of updated information based off the new things that happens within the Tulalip Tribes. This article was last updated November 26, 2020. This article is some what up to date as it was updated about 3 months ago. I do think that this article needs a little bit of more information that is recent if there is anything that they could add about the Tulalip Tribes.

Overall this article about the Tulalip Tribes needs some reliable sources, so we no whether or not the information that is talked about is true or not. This article has some good links that are attached to this article but there are a couple that don't work. This article was recently updated 3 months ago, but should have a little bit more information to get a good understanding about the Tulalip Tribes.
