Abstract
[edit]This experiment investigated the experimental rotational inertias of various masses and compared them to their theoretical rotational inertias.
Theory
[edit]This experiment tests the connection between the rotational inertia of differently shaped objects and their rotational acceleration under a similar force. There are two ways to determine the rotational inertia of an object: the static method and the dynamic method. The static method relies upon using the geometric measurements of the tested object.
