Seafood and Dress Night:

On or around the 55th day after the meeting of two individuals, it is tradition, that the couple goes out for Seafood and Dress Night. This involves one individual (further to be known as the ‘procurer’) to either pay for, or cook seafood. The other, to the party (which will now be referred to as the ‘wearer’), will then wear a dress of their choosing.

There is no set amount for which the procurer must contribute financially. Also, buffets are an accepted alternative to restaurants. But, please follow all Covid-19 protocols.

There is, however, a minimum of ‘leg skin’ that the dress wearer must show. This minimum follows 2 basic rules. 1. The wearers dress shall not be longer or past the knees, while standing. 2. Exceptions for dresses being longer than knee length, can only occur under the following circumstance: Dresses that have either a diagonal cut, or slit, are acceptable, as long as there is one verifiable area of the leg that allows the procurers hand to be fully on the leg skin. The entire surface area of the hand is not required to be touching skin, but at least one portion of the hand, from pinky finger to thumb, must have full contact with the skin of the wearers leg, for the dress to be considered acceptable.

Should the dress be either very revealing, very tight or perchance scandalous: it is recommended that the aforementioned couple, decide to stay in.

Photographs of the evening are recommended, for prosperity.

A gluten free dessert is not required, but recommended.

Sex is also not required, but is also recommended.

It is a good practice, that after the first Seafood and Dress Night, a ‘time stamp’ be created, and the process is then to repeat every 55 (or so) days afterwards. It is HIGHLY recommended that at least one of either the procurer or the wearer, make a physical note of the date, especially if either are really bad remembering dates. In the event of a dispute, as to when the next Seafood and Dress Night will occur, the final decision will be made by whomever was taller in height, at the previous Seafood and Dress Night. In such an occurrence, high heels are allowed to be factored in, and may be worn by either party.
