I am relatively new to editing Wikipedia, but I have used it for many years. I became interested in tropical cyclones in 2004, mainly from category 3 Hurricane Alex but also from Ivan and Charley. I began tracking Atlantic and Eastern Pacific cyclones in 2005, beginning with Hurricane Fernanda (category 1, Eastern Pacific). I then moved on to the Western & Southern Pacific areas and the Indian Ocean in 2006. I further became interested in the 1991 Halloween Nor'easter - The Perfect Storm - early in 2007.
