Útskalar (64°04'40.6"N 22°39'56.8"W) in Garður, Reykjanesskaga, is a high status farm located on the northern point of the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland. The site has been inhabited throughout Icelandic history, mentioned in both the Diplomatarium Islandicum[1], a collection of Icelandic medieval documents ranging from 1245-1491, and the Jarðabok farm census from 1703. Partial excavations that took place in 2005 and 2006 by FSÍ Fornleifastofnun Islands as part of a development project uncovered evidence of continuous long-term settlement since the Viking Age.
