[edit]PalestineFacts.org is an internet site which purports to give "comprehensive source of historically accurate information about the geographic, military and political background to the on-going struggle between the State of Israel and the Arab Palestinians". There has never been a mention on the website of who funds or edits the website.
Though undisclosed on its website, Palestinefacts was in fact started as a project of the Jewish Internet Association (JIA)[1] in 2002. The domain is registered in the name of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA).[2] JIA described itself as a non-profit 501(c)(3) California Public Benefit Corporation "dedicated to the educational purpose of providing truthful, positive information to combat anti-Semitism and anti-Israel activity on the Internet".[1] Among the project JIA has supported is the website called Hasbara.com [3]
The President of JIA was Chuck Chriss. He is a frequent contributor to New York Jewish Times, with articles strongly supporting Israel, and defending Israeli settlements [4], [5], [6]
