The following is an overview of the types of cargo aircraft operated by commercial cargo airlines of the world. Each block represents a "subfleet", that is one aircraft type operated by one airline.
Editor notes: All information is based on Wikipedia articles. Only cargo aircraft over 100,000 pounds MTOW that are currently in operation are shown, except where noted. To be included on this list, an airline must be operating (or ordering) at least 10 of such aircraft. To be considered "Phasing out", the Wikipedia article must state that the operator intends on phasing out or selling the entire subfleet within 2 years.
Formatting notes: Many abbreviations are used in identifying aircraft types. A guide to all cargo aircraft types is available at the bottom of this page.

Notes
[edit]- ^ a b c d There are two different versions of converted 747-400s. The BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) is done by TAECO, KAL Aerospace and SIA Engineering. The BDSF (Bedek Special Freighter) is done by Israel Aerospace Industries. Both versions differ from production versions in that they lack a nose cargo door.
