Hubert Kirrmann is (emerited) honorary professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. He is president of the Swiss IEC National Committee, TK65 for Industrial Automation, and member of IEC SC65C WG15 (High-availability Automation Networks) and IEC TC57 WG10 (Communication networks and systems for power utility automation).
He founded the consulting company Solutil in 2015.
