Zhao Shikui, courtesy name Yuanfu (元輔)[1], was the son of Zhao Bogui and Lady Song, descendant of Emperor Huizong.
Life
[edit]Zhao Shikui initially served as the right-hand man.
Han Yuanji recommended Zhao Shikui to Emperor Guangzong, Zhao Shikui's first cousin. Emperor Guangzong asked for Shi Hao's[2] opinion where as he approved as Hao thought he was smart and suitable.
During his tenure as right-hand man, he requested to give the soldiers Putian as the world. The court accepted his request. When Zhao Shikui stepped down, the bureaucrats offered 200,000 yuan, but Zhao Shikui refused to accept it, saying that this would endanger the people and left.[3]
