Mukhtiar Nazo Dharejo, is the brave and toughest women of Sindh, she was born to Haji Khuda Buksh Khan Dharejo and his second wife, Waderi Jamzadi, in a haveli in Dedhan village, Qazi Ahmed. She could only study till second grade. Nazo was forced to pick up arms to defend her father's agricultural land in rural Sindh. she has combated dacoits who attempted to threaten her and sieged her haveli.In the time of floods of 2010 which sweept up the homes,belongings and agricultural lands,she united denizens of Qazi Ahmed taluka Nawabshah and breached the blockage of water. "If there are bullets fired, I’ll take the first one. If they arrest us, I’ll be the first to offer myself",she addressed the villagers. Nazo has love for books and she had wished to sit in the CSS competitive examination and wanted to become a deputy district commissioner.[1]
Political career
[edit]Nazo Dahrejo started political career with PML(N) because MPA Jam Tamachi Unar was of PPP. Nazo Dharejo was given ticket by PML(N) for one of the reserved seats for women in Sindh Assembly.[2][3] President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain was received at Khairpur Nathan Shah Dadu by district president of PML(N) Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah,former Sindh chief minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi, Nazo dharejo and others party workers.[4] Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) district leader and social activist Nazo dharejo addressed a press conference at Nawabshah press club and said that Tabraiz Unar son of former MPA Jam Tamachi Unar and his nephew Changez Khan Unar had been threatening the people of Qazi Ahmed and vicinities [5]
