House88kend (ケンドリックの家88) was a internet name created by Kendrick Ng. The name was created on year 2005 and was still actively use till today. House88kend was also used for his studio creation namely "House88kend studios". He was also the author of #Kendylife . House88kend founded of the character "Natsuko"(なつこ, ナツコ), an imaginary Ninyo doll friend which appeared from his photography works or the character from #kendylife inspired from Danbo.

Origin of the name House88kend and Kendy

House88kend comes from combining the name Kendrick and House together. The "88" which was in the middle represents his birth year. Kendy was misspelled during an Halloween event back at Australia when their friends called his name too faster, thus ended calling him Kendy (From Candy).

History

(The Early Years - 2003-2006)

People often miscall him as Kenny, Henry, Kendtricks, or Can Drink. To make things easier, his friends refer him to as "Kend" instead of Kendrick. Therefore the name "house88kend" was created as a username for his e-mail address.

(From e-mail to the forming of his mini studio - 2007-2008)

As internet forum , social networking and blogging is getting famous at that time, a nickname has to be used, therefore the name "House88kend" was the universal name used. On 1/11/2007 "House88kend Studios" was established with only 2 members.

(University years - 2008-2011)

House88kend has made several notable achievements through his name through his participation in clubs and associations.

(2011-Current)

The name House88kend was widely known especially in small communities at Malaysia, Australia and some from other parts of the world. He now continues to use the name for his studio works especially in photography, design, media, song recording, video cinematography, doodling and sketching works.

#Kendylife webcomic blog

It all began with a bunch doodle arts that he drew about himself and Natsuko (The Japanese doll). He wanted to prepare a tiny surprise for the girl he likes. Then he gathered all the drawings and transform a normal diary blog to a comic blog just to impress her.
It didn't went well for him....but what happened to the comic blog turns out to be interesting, a few of his friends started to like and share it at Facebook and Twitter! And he never stop drawing web comics since then. (http://kendylife.blogspot.com)
