BYTE Drive[1] is part of BYTE Internet web services [2] and is an online file storage, backup and sharing service. It allows you to transfer files to a secure online filestore via either a java based application in the a web browser, or via an sync application installed on your machine (Windows or Mac).
Mainly used as a file backup facility it also has sharing features - both between BYTE Drive accounts and via links in emails and embedding files directly into web pages.[3]
BYTE Drive also can also restore previous versions of files if they are saved over and has a recycle bin feature to catch any deleted files.
There is no upper limit to the amount of data stored - it is sold in 100GB chunks. There is also no size limit to any individual file. There has been a slowing down of the system experienced when the number of files stored in the Drive reaches 100,000.
