- By new machines. (The labour needed to build the new equipment is far fewer to the new technology supposed to replaces.)
- By new investments of mostly and all robot powered. (Enabled by the cost savings and therefore increased profits from the new technology.)
- By changes in wages. (In cases where unemployment does occur, this can cause a lowering of wages, but the minimum wage law blocks them to re-employed at the lower cost. Sometimes workers will enjoy wage increases as their profitability rises. This leads to increased income and therefore increased spending, which little and no job creation as the robot technology advances and these industry make very few new employment.)
- By lower prices. (Which then lead to more demand, but more consumption lead to mostly or all robot powered.) Lower prices can also help offset wage cuts, as cheaper goods will increase workers' buying power, but no effect on unemployment people due to technology advances.
- By new products. (Where innovation didn't creates more new jobs.)
