Why can't the edits stay?[edit]The Ktunaxa people should not be re-directed to Kootenai. Why does this continue to change back? --KtunaxaNation (talk) 19:51, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Ktunaxa re-direct[edit]I am the Communications Manager for the Ktunaxa Nation (responsible for www.ktunaxa.org), and I find it very frustrating to navigate through this issue. The Ktunaxa is the name that the Ktunaxa people call themselves.... Kootenai is the "white person" name that was given to them. The least that could happen is that the re-direct go in reverse..... so that Kootenai re-directs to Ktunaxa. I am sure that Wikipedia doesn't have a page called "Indians", but instead has the correct term "First Nations"..... in this case, Wikipedia is out of step with being politically correct. There is a Kootenai Tribe of Idaho, but is just one of the member communities that make up the Ktunaxa Nation. --KtunaxaNation (talk) 20:25, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

As you have said the article can be "retained" following the re-write, it would help the assessing admin if you make a note under your nom statement of this (i.e. "nom withdrawn"). Thanks. I have answered your request for policy reasons on my keep arguments. That should be sufficient. Chuthya (talk) 13:38, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
ANI notification[edit]Hello. Quick request. When you bring up an issue with a particular editor to WP:ANI (or other public forum), it's good if that editor knows s/he is being discussed so folks responding there know both sides are represented. A one-line notification on their talk page suffices. Thanks. Wknight94 talk 16:55, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Gurung Dharma[edit]How about that when we have a link like main Article:.... Will not in this case two articles have the same wrods and sentences? Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. I am contacting you because you are listed as a participant for WikiProject Norway, and the above-mentioned article is sourced by all Norwegian-language references. Moreover, the references do not appear to support notability; they might be mere trivial references to the subject. Since these sources are all offline, and I do not speak or read Norwegian, I'm hoping whether you can assist me in determining whether the article qualifies for speedy deletion. Many thanks! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 12:55, 18 March 2010 (UTC) Users J. The problem is that they doesn´t quote any relevant source to remove the symbols and prove they are not used anymore, despite there´s a law supporting them. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tamara Kučan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romance (genre) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Please check the purpose behind an edit before declaring it as unconstructive. Thank you.Spiritualstonewarrior (talk) 20:18, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
Re vanadalism[edit]Hello, How are you. I have read your messege. But what does the wikipedia policy says about when someone has corrupted the original text of the book to post it as a reference. In the mentioned article a reference from Philip Edward Jones book Pakistan Army. The original text of the book mentions Awan Tribe as the most heavily recruited tribe but some editor has inserted Khokhar in it and then pasted it as a reference. This type of things are against the copyright and also create doubts about wikipedia authenticity. That's why I have deleted the text. This text is not worth saving it but some editors are putting their full efforts to save it. I hope you will understand my point. If you are in a position to read this book you can verify my claim.
