Saraswati International School[edit]Hi, I've uploaded a file named Statue of Saraswati Goddess , now I want to add this file into the article Saraswati International School because the image in that file is captured from this school. So can you tell me the steps of adding a file/image which is already uploaded on Wikipedia to be added to an article. Thank You,Sukhoi30mki (talk) 08:33, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
The significance of Inclusion of the Cambridge Analog Technologies page[edit]Dear Hitro, Cambridge Analog Technologies is primarily significant because of its contributions to field of semiconductors in general and circuit design in particular. This company has invented a (proven) revolutionary new method of designing analog circuits that are 10x lower than what is traditional. It has 30 patents worldwide, this company also received a NSF award for this work, the paper on this technology has also recd numerous other awards incld the best paper award @ ISSCC. Sometimes certain organizations get intertwined with certain innovations that are so fundamentally disruptive that it becomes generally relevant for average folks but certainly those in the field. These innovations will be detailed with this company with citations etc. You do have other companies such as TSMC, ARM, Chipidea, MIPs. The last three companies are in the business of semiconductor Semiconductor IP business as well. Wikipedia is an excellent source of relevant past and contemporary information; this page certainly is an excellent candidate for inclusion precisely because of its scientific contributions. While I may be seen as someone who has reason to be biased, I would not be providing this information did I feel this was not the case. I hope this explains why we deemed it fit for inclusion in wikipedia. If you would like verification of its contributions, I would be happy to provide those to you. I would ask that this page not be deleted; if it needs editing with further information, I would be happy to do so as appropriate. Thanks and Best Regards, Kush Gulati Catwikionline (talk) 04:29, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Well spotted[edit]How could you possibly deny the notability of D millz? "He has rocked syphers all over tha island from back yard barbaques to house party rap battles". Just kidding of course, you tagged it as CDS A7 about 1.2 seconds before my finger hit the save button to do the same. Cheers, ponyo (talk) 20:48, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Chariotry in ancient Egypt[edit]Greetings! I've declined your request for speedy deletion of Chariotry in ancient Egypt because it does not appear to be copied from the indicated article. If you can point out some of the copied passages on the talk page, I'll be willing to re-evaluate. —C.Fred (talk) 21:28, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Copyright information[edit]Hello, I work for US SQUASH and we would like to place the history of our organization on our Wikipedia page. What is the syntax I should use to indicate that we are allowing the information on our site to be published? Also, how can I gain the right to upload pictures to the US Squash page? Thanks! CSD[edit]On Golomukti, you were right (G2). I was assuming good faith, but...it seems it was really a test (or worse). I've deleted it. Cheers! Frank | talk 20:27, 17 July 2009 (UTC) Re: محمد رضا مثبوت[edit]I tagged it A2, because I couldn't find any other "foreign language" CSD on TWINKLE. It got deleted, which is what I wanted, so it all worked out in the end. There should be a "Not English" CSD on TWINKLE and it would make things alot easier :) Take Care...NeutralHomer • Talk • 15:01, 18 July 2009 (UTC) Deletion Inquiry[edit]Hello, I would like to know why my article on trombonist Elliot Mason is about to be deleted. The reason given (that the article is not significant) is arguable, to say the least. Abromwell (talk) 19:26, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Maybe give her a little more than 2 minutes to fix it before tagging it? I know from personal experience how annoying that can be. - Denimadept (talk) 22:04, 21 July 2009 (UTC) Removal of PROD from Gauri Malla[edit]Hello HitroMilanese, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Gauri Malla has been removed. It was removed by ThaddeusB with the following edit summary '(contest prod - subject has won best actress awards from her country's film industry & thus is notable - add references to support award wins; fix movie links)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with ThaddeusB before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 16:53, 22 July 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages) Hey Hitro, I saw your comment on the talkpage for that article--well said. Listen, that editing dispute is probably not going away anytime soon. In the meantime, we need to find an expert (pref. one who knows English better than some of the contributors to the article) who can figure out what's what. Do you have any ideas? Do you know any experts in this area? Thanks, Drmies (talk) 13:04, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
I completely understand why you added the speedy deletion tag to this article; I was sufficiently familiar with her name that I found a reference that demonstrates notability, and therefore removed the speedy tag, but I wanted you to know that the article I saw didn't have anything to demonstrate notability and you were perfectly correct. dear hitro, Ok i understand, then you could have deleted the contacts and i also read in the history about infrastructure being promotional fine is ok if you delete that too then why did you delete the entire page? that included alumni, activities and academy? it had nothing promotional at all. in alumni i gave a link to the official site when the list was there. and in activities i described the functions happening in the school and in academics i wrote about the exams and subjects. what was promotional about that? Do you know, i literally cried when i found out my work was completely deleted. after putting my baby to sleep i sat till 4 in the morning to write all that. now when i tried to undo it. and delete the infra and contact keeping the rest. it seems it has to be manually done. Also i looked into many other school entries and wrote it. if mine has to be deleted then i suppose there are many entries doing so.... if there is anything you can do to just undo the activities, alumni and academy, please do. i don't know when will i be able to find time to write all that again. please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinkpearl 285 (talk • contribs) 04:57, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Bal537's Edits[edit]Dear Admin, User Bal537 has been indulging in Vandalism on Ramdasia section of Wikipedia. Ramdasia [Weavers,Julahas] have nothing to do with Ravidasia[Cobblers,Chamars]. This user is trying to project other communities including Jats, Khatri, Brahmin as descendant of Chamar community which is highly objectionable. I would therefore request you to permanently block user Bal537 from making any malicious edits on any section of Wikipedia. thanks Ravinder121 (talk) 17:15, 26 July 2009 (UTC) Thanks for suggesting to discuss[edit]Thankyou so much dear Hitro, for suggesting me to go to the discussion column to mark the topic of the right spellings for Khukhrain. As being very new to Wiki, the ignorance was obvious. (Anoop Kohli 03:39, 28 July 2009 (UTC)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anoopkohli (talk • contribs)
It's still Khukhrain[edit]Dear Hitro Thanks for the kind consideration and efforts to locate the right spellings. The site that you have reffered http://www.khukhran.com[1] states as follows.... We believe Khukhran's don't represent a caste and don't have any relation to a particular religion. They represent a "genealogy" of people that inhabited the same region in India. This area was primarily "Bhera, Punjab (Pakistan)-BHERA, a town of British-India". Khukhran.com / KhukhranBiradari.com is a Canadian non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to So Hitro, they don't even consider Khukhrain as any cast from any where in the world....and just imagine a Canadian organisation commenting/publishing such statements about a sub-caste of Indian origin. On the contrary, why not reffer to the actual official website that is http://www.khukhrain.tk[2]. I am sure this would help you change your views towards it's right diction/spellings.(Anoop Kohli 06:34, 29 July 2009 (UTC)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anoopkohli (talk • contribs)

indian school salalah[edit]hi hitro we shud talk ! U had put up a no citations sign on the ISS webpage , I spared a few valuable hours making references for each statement put up there. I also deleted statements I felt were self praising & difficult to substatiate. A visitor to this page cud be interested in knowing what are the languages taught there as it is different in each school - u deleted that section claiming it to be junk. An encyclopedia is also used as a reference for dates -- u deleted the section that mentioned the date when the school started. A school entry is expected to have details about its curriculum --- the most important section -- u deleted that claiming it as junk ! I have seen wiki pages for a sister concern of this school Iindian school dubai -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Indian_High_School,_Dubai Plz see the info mentioned there -- the editor has added even the subjects being taught in each section!! This is an info that is similiar to all CBSE schools , therefore this can be termed junk.He has mentioned names of dignitaries that visited the school , is this relevant info?!! Any article that gives a brief summary of the syllabus followed, is an essential part of a school info page. But here , u have deemed it to be junk. Now either u havent noticed wiki's editing policy in similiar pages [ this amounts to non-uniform editing] or wiki has started a new policy of clearing up junk from all pages, the ISS page just happens to be first in the crossfire. IF the second option is the case , then I recommend Wiki put up a ideal school page as a sample for first time users so that we wont waste hours uploading info that wud later be termed unessential , we cud save a lot of workhours & this can also set a standard for present & future school pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slldiary (talk • contribs) 04:20, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
U do have a point there[edit]Hi there Hitro Yes, U do have a point there about the establishment date in the infobox, I missed that repetition. & yes , it is an article in an encyclopedia , not a webpage, so it shud contain only relevant info. I will try to upload more unique info next time. The ideal pages u mentioned, eg. plano school has 1 big advantage -- the school itself is ideal in many respects. Thanks for pointing out the wiki project on schools , that was a big help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slldiary (talk • contribs) 13:21, 4 August 2009 (UTC) hey[edit]its writed: "albaStars.NET is an independent Albanian language Celebrity portal launched in January 2007. it is currently the most visited Albanian Celebrity News portal." and i will edit this: "albaStars.NET is an independent Albanian language Celebrity portal" to "albaStars.NET is an independent Albanian language Celebrity News portal" Thanks for sending me this message anyway albaStars is Independed website with most visits in this category: (Albanian Celebrity News Portal) bcuz i don't know any other website wich has stats like albaStars and articles about Albanian stars only so u should check that out and if u don't understand something just ask me it will be my pleasure to explain it to you or edit it. Bulking up a new profile[edit]Hello Hitro - I'm looking for information about how I can request that other editors generate information about Robert Hormats - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Hormats He's a super-important guy - a one-time Goldman Sachs executive who is currently under consideration to join the Obama Administration. Looking forward to your tips! LittleKyle (talk) 20:20, 5 August 2009 (UTC)LittleKyle
Ktunaxa re-direct[edit]I am the Communications Manager for the Ktunaxa Nation (responsible for www.ktunaxa.org), and I find it very frustrating to navigate through this issue. The Ktunaxa is the name that the Ktunaxa people call themselves.... Kootenai is the "white person" name that was given to them. The least that could happen is that the re-direct go in reverse..... so that Kootenai re-directs to Ktunaxa. I am sure that Wikipedia doesn't have a page called "Indians", but instead has the correct term "First Nations"..... in this case, Wikipedia is out of step with being politically correct. There is a Kootenai Tribe of Idaho, but is just one of the member communities that make up the Ktunaxa Nation. --KtunaxaNation (talk) 20:25, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Adcote[edit]Thank you for reviewing the school and adding a C rating. I note your deletions. With the cleanup tag, I am happy to work on the article, if perhaps you could give me some guidance on what needs to be done. Many thanks Gary Wright Adcote (talk) 21:07, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for your input. I will continue to add to the article and attempt a 'cleanup'. Best regards Gary Wright Adcote (talk) 18:56, 6 August 2009 (UTC) DNDi[edit]Hi, I am writing to address the warnings on the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative page, that I think you may have created. While I agree that the language used on the page was not neutral and written in an advertisement-like manner, the page has since been updated and now uses neutral language and is not different from the pages of similar organizations. To have those warnings remain on the page is not only unfair to the organization, but is misleading to potential readers looking for information on DNDi. Would it be possible to review the page and remove them? Thanks, Catee.lalonde (talk) 15:12, 6 August 2009 (UTC).
