His Manliness is an avid bicyclist who has ridden the TransAmerica Trail and Western Express Route, solo and self-contained. He is also an avid hiker, having climbed 29 state summits including CA, CO, WA, WY, UT, NM, MT, ID, AZ, OR, TX, SD & VT; 27 of Colorado's Fourteeners; and one national summit in the UK. HM is a registered metallurgical Professional Engineer in two states, and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. Best of all, he is a modest, self-effacing, humble guy!
HM uses Wikipedia regularly, and strives to make it as accurate, apolitical and verifiable as possible. His contributions are mostly in the areas of metallurgy, ceramics, bicycles, mountains and the places where he has lived or worked.
