The Professor (also known as Professor McNasty; born approx. 1960 – 1980) is a fictional professor. He is most known for being the host of the YouTube series Puppet History, created by The Professor’s close friend Shane Madej, as one of the various shows created by the American company Watcher Entertainment. He is a puppet, presumably of American descent. He is a historian by occupation. His full name is not known. He is unable to move his limbs; they are controlled by Madej.[1]
Appearance
[edit]The Professor is a puppet with blue fur, a round yellow nose, and brown eyes. He wears American Girl doll clothing, including a brown jacket with a red bowtie along with a brown hat; he has no pants. He also wears glasses, which often fall off when he is excited. He carries a brown satchel which contains Jelly Beans.[1] He looks like blue Elmo.[2]
Personality
[edit]He is generally a sassy, good-natured character, but sometimes he’s also dark and his evil personality shows up when you least expect it. His glasses fall off when he gets excited. This could also be because his glasses are of low quality and don’t fit his weirdly shaped nose. He is very passionate about history. He is clumsy and often gets stuck in the curtain of the puppet theater. He swears when things don’t go his way. He is self-aware and knows that he is a puppet. He gets mad when people fool around too much and don’t care enough about his history tales.[1][2][3][4]
Biography
[edit]Not much is known about The Professor’s life. Therefore, this section is almost entirely speculated.
Early life
[edit]The Professor was born around 1970, with a 10-year margin of error, given that he is probably 40 to 60 years old, judging by appearance. His parents are probably also puppets. The Professor was born and raised in the US, but probably has some connection with France, since he sometimes makes fun of the language and many episodes of Puppet History have also featured events that occurred in France.[2][4] Growing up, he might have had mental problems like depression or bipolar disease, and probably has considered, or even attempted suicide, since he knows a lot about the different methods.[1]
Education
[edit]He is an alumn of Puppet University (PU).[4] He probably studied history there. Since no records of this school existing can be found, we can believe that this is a school operating in the shady underground world of puppets.
Career
[edit]His career is largely unknown. Given his field of study, he has probably worked as a historian or a history teacher. If the latter is true, then the school he worked in must again be operating in the underground world of puppets. Currently, he likely earns money from hosting the show Puppet History.
Relationship with Madej
[edit]Neither of them has talked about their relationship or how they met, so all we can do is speculate.
We can assume that they are close friends since Madej is the only person who moves his limbs (as he himself cannot). It is unclear how they met, but Los Angeles is big and the only reasonable explanation to them meeting each other is that they bumped into each other on the street or in a bar of some sort. We are awaiting further explanation from Madej. He lives together with Madej, but given his sexuality and the fact that he’s a puppet, he is likely a tenant and pays rent.
Personal life
[edit]Nothing is known about The Professor’s personal life. However, we do know that he is very hard-working and very passionate about his field of study and does not seem to be experienced in the love side. The Professor is not married, at least not happily, since he does not wear a wedding ring. He has no known children.
Miscellaneous

- He lies about his knowledge of the existence of Madej.
- He has some experience with the French language, as he sometimes makes fun of it jokingly pronouncing some English words in the French way when he is not sure of the correct English pronunciation.

- He poops Jelly Beans. Therefore, he poops inside the Coveted Cup of the History Master and also inside his satchel. He is shown to be eager to eat his poop.[1]
