LYRICAL ASSASSINS

[edit]

Lyrical Assassins was set by MoReece J (Reece Jackson) in January 2020 as a system to support independent rappers, singers, producers, YouTube content creators ect. MoReece's aim is to create a hub in which can help fans find new artists and artists can find a new way to get recognised without spending money on promotion. MoReece J set up Lyrical Assassins as a brand in itself, so Lyrical Assassins funds itself by selling merchandise to it's own fanbase and affiliating with Amazon and Google for advertising revenue. Lyrical Assassins currently support more than 50 artists and offer Radio, YouTube powered TV, DatPiff mixtapes, playlists, social media promotion and a show known as The Fire Show (formerly What's New Lyrical Assassins)

MoReece J (Reece Jackson) grew up in a town in East London in which he started his life with his mum (Karen) and dad (Calvin) in 1985 living with his grandparents (Henry Preedy), grandmother (Margeret Preedy) and uncle (Carl Preedy). By the age of 2 (1987), MoReece and his parents moved into a flat (apartment) in the town centre and MoReece lived a typical life of your average London toddler. Playing with friends outside other apartments and meeting his life long best friend Dayle Evans, a friendship that has seen good and bad periods, but has remained a friendship unbreakable.

MoReece's mother gave birth to his first sibling (Candice) in January 1990, in May 1992, MoReece and his family moved into a house bordering a fairly large nature reserve in which MoReece became very fond of due to the freedom that it offered. Making camps, playing run outs and getting into fights was just some of the activities MoReece would engage in during this time.

In August 1992, MoReece's 2nd sibling (Letitia) was born and his parents married a year later in 1993 whilst on vacation in Sidari, Corfu

MoReece was always into music and took a liking to Michael Jackson, Madonna, Oasis, Puff Daddy, Coolio, Run DMC and more. MoReece was a very talented dancer, from the age of 8 or 9 years old, MoReece was able to mimic moves and routines performed by Michael Jackson and by the time he was a teenager, was attending Hewitts Performing Arts in which he studied Modern, Jazz, Tap, Disco and various other forms of dance. MoReece also took to writing, during his younger years MoReece displayed a talent for writing poems and he channeled this talent to write songs and raps. It was also around this time MoReece was turning his head to Hip Hop, listening to the likes of Dr Dre, 2pac, Snoop Dogg and Biggie Smalls, MoReece was now a Hip Hop follower and in 1999, when Eminem released his Slim Shady LP, MoReece was sucked into the world of Hip Hop and became a highly dedicated supporter of Eminem and his peers.

During high school (1996 - 2000), MoReece's life took a bitter turn due to issues he had with a number of students at his school. He was known to act out in violence against his enemies and was often targeted for this reason and his school had given up on his behaviour. MoReece's friends at school (William Brooks) and (Jamie Dye) remained loyal to MoReece and would remain regular friends throughout the rest of his teen life. Outside of school, MoReece hung around dangerous places with questionable people. MoReece's crew was made up of William (Bill) Brooks, Jamie Dye, Sean Whiting, James Reeder, Ben Lawrence, Carly Brokwell, Corrine Stanley and Luke Parish. MoReece often engaged in robbery, criminal damage, assaults, drug and drink abuse and had regular confrontations with the Metropolitan Police.

Once at college age in 2001, MoReece began to make new friends and change some of his pass times, Wiliam, Luke and Jamie followed suit and they began to hang out in different towns along with their new friend Stanley Ngwenya, whom MoReece met at Havering College, because they shared an interest in music.

MoReece began to make music in both Stanleys home studio and at home on his computer in whch he used programs such as Reason to create Hip Hop beats and record his raps to save to mini discs. MoReece was now Hip Hop through and through and spent every day finding new music, trying new styles and influencing his peers.

MoReece was exposed to alot of criminal activity during this time and was victim of street robberys and violence, he was also engaging with criminals that dealt with drugs, arms, counterfeit money and stolen goods. This life began to lead MoReece into a life of depression and anxiety, something that would haunt MoReece for a long time. This dark mental state began with MoReece attempting to overdose at the young age of 17 in his parents house.

MoReece has done alot of travelling in his life, to places like Cuba, Portugal, Tunisia, Spain and many other countries, but one country that stole MoReece's heart is Jamaica. MoReece first visited Jamaica with family in 2003 and he engaged in the life of a Rasta whilst he was there. He made a girlfriend from Trylawny, Falmouth in Jamaica and spent a lot of time with her brother whom took MoReece fishing for dinner, smoking naturally grown Cannabis, visiting local bars and shopping centres and riding motorbikes in the hills. MoReece went back to Jamaica multiple times up until he was 22 years old and had become a known person in Jamaica and often visited the Cannabis plantations in the hills of Jamaica.

Back in the UK, MoReece still lived a different life and was very much into parties and raves. MoReece changed his circle putting him back in the world of his best friend Dayle Evans, and Dayles brothers John Evans and Gareth Evans. MoReece made new friends via his best friend, friends like Wayne Leeder, Dave Eastbrook, Glenn Foyster, Danielle Watson and Karly Leeder. MoReece engaged in party atmosphere's on a regular basis, in which they played loud music and consumed drugs such as MDMA, Cocaine, LSD and various related drugs. MoReece was in his element during this time due to the drugs available were masking his anxiety from others and himself.

At some point in 2005, MoReece was unemployed and desperate for money, during seeking work, MoReece accepted a job in which he was a Care Assistant for Elderly persons with Dementia and other health problems. This quickly led into a career and after achieving his neccersary qualifications, MoReece went on to become a Support Worker for Learning Disabilities from 2007 till 2011. MoReece got his own rented home, had everything he needed and made a new smaller circle with chilled out friends Harry Hagley, Josh Ellam, Ross Sulliavan and his girlfriend Jessica. MoReece was flying high with a career, a home and good money to enjoy. It was a dark ending to this career, following multiple arrests and charges in his personal life, along with a disaster relationship with Nikole Say, it was discovered MoReece turned to dealing Cannabis in order to earn extra money to get a new home, his career was swiftly ended in July 2011. MoReece went on to work with food in a local Fish and Chip shop and move back in with his parents. MoReece began to enjoy the pub life with his friends from the Chip Shop and Emma. They would often head out to the pub after work, enjoying drinks in William The Conquer, The Saxon King and The Pompadoars.
