LC Singh new article content ...LC Singh is a pioneer of the Information Technology industry and has contributed significantly towards building the Indian IT brand worldwide. A distinguished alumnus of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University and the Harvard Business School, LC (as he is known to his friends) has rich and varied experience of over three decades in marketing, general management and consulting worldwide.

He performed key roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) where he was Senior Vice President in charge of operations for UK, South Africa and Middle East, in addition to looking after marketing, public relations and brand building.

LC also headed Zensar Technologies as its CEO between 1998 and 2000 where he was the driving force behind the dramatic shift in the company's positioning and corporate image.

Subsequently, LC founded Nihilent, a global consulting and solutions integration company engaged in introducing change through information technology, people and process interventions, in systemic manner to improve performance. One of his major contributions is the conceptualization and creation of Nihilent’s patented change management framework MC Cube. He has also been credited of conceptualizing Nihilent’s Customer Loyalty Evaluation (CLE)framework branded as 14Signals is a patented predictive model that helps businesses to identify the loyalty drivers and build enduring customer loyalty. LC has been a strong patron of art & artist and believes strongly in encouraging creativity in all forms. He along with well known film director Anurag Kashyap, Pankuj Parashar and leading talent agency Carving Dreams Entertainment launched tumbhi.coman online portal that seeks to transforms the lives of artists, art lovers and seekers.

He continues to be a student of ontology and epistemology. LC is a Fellow of The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) and Computer Society of India (CSI).

LC Singh wrote and produced the Hindi feature film - 'Banaras, a mystic love story' which received huge critical acclaim the world over. The film starred Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Urmila Matondkar, Ashmit Patel and Akash Khurana. The film received rave reviews and honours in India and abroad. It was selected for screening at the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) at Goa.

LC Singh grew up in Banaras and studied at the Banaras Hindu University. The ideas that gave shape to the story existed in his mind for a long time. The film is his personal tribute to Banaras. He took a sabbatical from his regular job as CEO of consulting/technology company - Nihilent Technologies to pursue his creative urge.

Singh co-scripted the film with talented screenwriter Javed Siddiqui and collaborated with one of India's leading filmmaker Pankuj Parashar to convert his story to celluloid. Through the songwriter, Sameer and the music director, Himesh Reshammiya, LC Singh ensured that every single musical note and word in the film reflect the ancient Banaras gharana (school) of Indian music.
