His late grandfather Peter Otsieno Lichomo was married to a Luo woman named Aloo Nyar Ochuoga from which his father (being the last son) was named after in honour of the paternal-in-laws. When his father died at the tender age of 30 years old in 1993 in Kilifi (Bofa town) of cardiac pulmonary failure due to drawing, the family went into complete obscurity and shame. With no one to put a shoulder to cry on his mother decided to move the siblings to khunyangu village in Busia but only managed to stay for six months. She moved back with her children to Mombasa in search for better life. Hillary Alloice was a curious boy and by the time he was five years old he was nicknamed Lawyer that was badly pronounced as 'Loi'. Later he was nicknamed 'Voca" when in high school due to his quick learning skills, exemplary academic performance and mystery of dictionary words... Later he acquired a celebrity nickname 'mcoasty' by his fellow school mates when at Kenya Medical Training college. Hillary Alloice Ochuoga is a health informatics professional with a deep background knowledge in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Programming. Education History
Hillary Alloice began his schooling journey in a God-sent-way scenario. At the age of about four he was enrolled into a pre-school in 1992 but his education almost went into jeopardy after the loss of his father on 23rdAugust in 1993. For two years he stayed at home with his mother to curb the pain of losing a father untill 1995 when he got an opportunity to join Living Word Primary School (a missionary school) that had being started by two Swedish missionaries Ms. Judith and Ms. Ingabo. The school had been started to help orphans and disadvantaged children at Mikindani. In 2002 he did his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE). When result were announced on 31stDecember same year he had passed and selected to report in a provincial school but he could not immediately join secondary school the following year (2003) due lack of finance. When his teachers heard that he had not joined school after a whole term had ended they sort to help him join school. He was to join Kenyatta Boys High School but when he finally got an intervention to his education through a scholarship from a man of God Mr. Harold Mganga who owned a School in Taita. Mr Harold gladly picked him up to join the school called Taita Academy High School (Moto: we strive for excellence, Ebenezer). In 2005 at only in form three he had already shown his prowess to academics. He completed his high school education in the eve of 17thNovember, 2006 after a computer studies practical paper. His struggles did not end and it was as if they were a fresh. Too much abject poverty and the rejection by relative made it difficult to raise funds to pursue his interest to study Computer science (software development with a bias in Statistics and programming) at Kenyatta university. Keeping it only for two years 2008-2010) he had to stay out of school doing crazy and menial jobs to help his jobless mother and atleast help the family with something to eat. Noticing that still there was no enough money for the family and the manual jobs were hectic and herculean he decided to find any private school to teach as untrained teacher. At evening time he would return home after teaching to hide in one of his mother's chambers (room) to write (slowly turning himself into a writer) that probably solaces him from the loss and shame of poverty that lingered at his family untill 30th May 2011 when he decided to apply for an opportunity to join Medical school which finally paid off due to his choose of subject in Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Computer Studies. At that time he had only managed to save a few shillings to pay for his first semester from his teaching. Later on 13th September 2011, Hillary Alloice left the teaching podium and dived into the health profession. His experience in teaching for almost a year had changed his mind set completely turning him into a self-made individual with an intellectual intent personality that made every student at the medical college stunned by him due to his elastic neurological brain in learning and mastery of subjects. Graduating in 2014 Hillary had spent much of his time educating himself privately and only went out at twilight to keep an eye at his girlfriend or make an errand to his health and perhaps do some physical work-out.
