Interstate 50 is an east-west Interstate highway in the United States. It follows U.S. Routes 160, 64, and 412 over its length.

Route description

Arizona

Interstate 50 begins at an interchange with I-17 just outside of Tuba City. From there, it follows U.S. Route 160 thru Kayenta and Teec Nos Pos before it enters New Mexico.

New Mexico

I-50 enters New Mexico near Shiprock, and follows U.S. Route 64, intersects I-25 south of Raton, and enters Oklahoma.

Oklahoma

I-50 enters Oklahoma near Boise City. It follows U.S. Route 412, intersects I-35 near Perry and I-44 in Tulsa, and enters Arkansas. I-50 follows the Cimarron and Cherokee Turnpikes in Oklahoma.


Arkansas

I-50 enters Arkansas in Siloam Springs. It intersects I-49 in Springdale, and follows US 412 the rest of the way thru Arkansas into Missouri.


Missouri

I-50 only enters Missouri for 50 miles, the shortest state distance on I-50. It intersects I-55 in Hayti and then crosses the Mississippi River on the Caruthersville Bridge into Tennessee.


Tennessee

I-50 enters its last state, Tennessee, just west of Dyersburg, where it also intersects I-69. From there, it follows US 412 to its terminus at I-40 in Jackson.
