Frederick A. Douglass High School (Oklahoma City) is a public high school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and part of independent school district 89 (I-89), also known as the Oklahoma City Public Schools. Douglass High School is the oldest continuous high school in the state of Oklahoma. The school colors are burnt orange and black. The mascot is "The Trojans".
This school year, the Douglass Trojans made it to the Class 4A football championship game, losing to their cross-town rival, the Star Spencer Bobcats. According to one Douglass alumni, "for the school year 2009-2010, the mighty Douglass Trojans are having a stellar sports year![Ref 1] Also, the Douglass Trojans Basketball Team is currently undefeated and ranked #4 in the State and #127 nationally according to MaxPreps.com.
