The Novator 91R is an anti-submarine missile used by the Russian Navy.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] It was fielded as early as 2014 in the Yasen-class submarine.[8] It has been produced by NPO Novator since year 2000.[9][10]
Variants
[edit]The missiles come in two variants. Both variants use a two-stage solid fuel engine and are of diameter 533mm. The warhead is an APR-3ME torpedo, weight 300kg, diameter 324mm, length 3000mm, explosive mass 60kg. The minimum range is 5km and the missiles are capable of Mach 2 re-entry.[10]
