- [1] This is a peer reviewed article based around the Bembe culture and their art focuses on the culture.
[2] This is a book that look over Bembe art. It is a translation from French to English so half of the pages are in French and the other half are the translations to English.
[3] This is a book about many different cultures within Africa. There is only a small section on Bembe art tied into the Western Congo Region
[4] This is a book about the different cultures within the Congo. There is a section on Bembe culture and it has connections to the Boyo. The section its that big but it does have a good start.
[5] This is a peer reviewed article based around Central African Reliquary. Bembe Reliquary is mentioned a couple times but doesn't have to much information on it in general.
[6] This is an article based around art the the Cleveland Museum got in 2006. While the art varies between cultures it discusses Bembe plank masks in a section of the article.
[7] This is a book which details different masks throughout the Congo
