Hemant Bhattarai is a director, writer, and producer. A filmmaker and a passion for storytelling led him to pursue film studies in India. He initially worked as an assistant director on the Indian Soap Drama Parvarrish – Season 2[1] and worked on various productions. He establishes his career in documentary film through his debut documentary, " Chhaupadi"- Dying In Illegal Menstrual Huts.[2][3] He remains dedicated to the power of storytelling as a tool for education and societal reflection. He believes in doing something meaningful to help change and impact the world through his art and craft.
