The typical person, with a lack of knowledge on intermediate history, will never come to the realization in which before the Wright Brothers, there were hundreds, if not thousands, of aviators. The first humans to ever fly, known as the Montgolfier Brothers, are not as widely recognized as the damned Wright Brothers. You see, the Montgolfier Brothers took to the skies a good 109 years before the Wrights did so. The Montgolfiers took precious time to create a beautiful, 110-foot-tall hot-air balloon, whereas the Wrights simply lashed together a small amount of wood, fabric, paper, and engine to create -not even an aeroplane- a slow, draggy heavier-than-air craft of which possessed zero maneuverability, lacked any sort of structural integrity, and floated through the blasted air to its destination, which was usually twelve seconds away. Earlier, half of the population of Paris, which was about 400,000 at the time, came to witness the two humans lift off from our world. After the Montgolfier balloon, hundreds upon thousands of balloons were built to assist fellow humans in soaring above the clouds.
Do you think or read about what our ancestors did for us? No. You simply stare at your phone screen and masturbate to disgusting pornography as you upload film of yourself dancing to social media. Now that we are living in an age of advanced technology, the typical person never appreciates the magic of history. There exists so many events and inventions of which remain silent in school. The typical person will think of how interesting it would be if there existed a flying aircraft carrier. Well, guess what? The U.S. Navy owned two flying aircraft carriers in the 1920s! And now I assume you're thinking, "they did?" Yes, they did! Realistic history is never taught in school. In fact, as a middle schooler, my school lacks even a history class, god damnit!
