General to-do/suggestion list for HIM articles

Again, this is largely for my reference and isn't me telling anyone else what should be done with the articles. However, anyone who wants to use it for reference in finding ways to contribute to the articles is welcome to, since I do plan to compile a fairly thorough list of things like redlinks, missing sources, etc. I'm trying to pare this down to what really needs to be done and cut out anything that sounds bossy (though, again, they're just suggestions), but you're welcome to check the history of this and my main user page for what past versions have looked like.

Article cleanup

[edit]
Redlinks: Right now there are redlinks for Antto Einari Melasniemi, Jussi-Mikko "Juska" Salminen, Juhana Tuomas "Pätkä" Rantala, Tim Palmer, Jesse Valo, Isabelle's Gift, B.L.O.O.D., Eloveena Boys, Kemoterapia, Single Collection, HIM: The Video Collection 1997–2003, Love Metal Archives, Paramour Studios, and probably more.
Wikilinks: Link all years to "(year) in music" or not? I'm not sure what the style rule for this is, and I keep meaning to look.

Consistency

[edit]
Note: I'm working on a list of these things—the correct spellings of names, the dates of things with notes on which ones are different between articles, etc.—and will put it up here soon for my use and anyone else's who is interested.
Genre: Is defined differently between articles. Currently the main band article says "Debated" and points to the Genre Controversy section, but the rest say everything from "a Finnish band" to "rock" to "alternative metal".
Dates: Check dates given for the same event (releases, etc.) in different articles to be sure they match up and check them against external sources. Edit: I though the Amazon.com release dates for the albums, which I was going to use to verify the release dates on the album pages, were wrong, but maybe I'm reading Amazon wrong and those dates refer only to when the albums were available on Amazon or something like that. Or maybe they're right and the articles are wrong. I don't know where else to verify the information on the album pages; anyone?
Names: Look up correct spellings of proper names and check that each instance uses the correct spelling. Also make certain all occurrences of a hyperlinked name point to the same article, whether it exists or not.
With non-HIM articles: Where one of the articles mentions something outside of the HIM category, check that spellings, Wikilinks, etc. match those in articles about the subject in question (for example, Guns N' Roses, mentioned in the Mikko Viljami Lindström article, is spelled and punctuated precisely that way by that band).

Completion & organization

[edit]
Sources: A number of articles completely lack sources or have individual unsourced statements. Some include HIM (band), Ville Valo, Mikko Viljami Lindström, Killing Loneliness, Join Me in Death, and heartagram. My article-specific to-do list is intended to compile a list of all the stub pages and the articles needing sources.
Stubs: Current stubs include And Love Said No, Killing Loneliness, Mikko Viljami Lindström, Wings of a Butterfly, and Hiili Hiilesmaa.
Albums: Make sure all releases get the "Category:HIM albums" tag, the appropriate "Category:Albums by year" tag, and/or other applicable tags.
Redirects: Removed this section until I figure out the guidelines for redirects. I did edit the looping redirects from the main band article (those that linked to articles, for example Zoltan Pluto, which redirected back to the main article), but some people might argue that they should've been kept on the page. I posted about it on Talk:HIM (band), if anyone has an opinion or another idea of what to do with the redirects.
Missing information: Things that aren't addressed anywhere or at least not where one might expect it to be (usually, the main band article), like the conflict between HIM and a New York (I think) band of the same name over the rights to use the name HIM in the U.S., HIM's temporary use of the name HER, under what circumstances the former members left the band, anything at all about most of the music videos, more about how and why Bam Margera started using the heartagram, information on band members who don't have separate articles, and general band history. See also my article-specific to-do list for my list of things that specific articles might need.
