Personal Details

My name is J. Kevin Bay, and I am working on my MLitt at the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. I spend much more time than I should online, especially when I'm looking for humour [1][2][3] or broadening my philosophical horizons.

Academic Interests

I currently hold a BA in philosophy; as I mentioned, I am working on my MLitt, and starting in the autumn of 2008, I plan to begin my PhD research here in St Andrews.

Although I have a broad range of interests within philosophy, my primary interests (which is to say, what will almost certainly become my research interests) are logic, philosophy of mathematics, and (to a lesser extent) philosophy of language.

Other Interests

I am something of a devotee of humour. My wife and I collect stand-up comedy albums, and I am fairly well up on internet humour.
I am usually up for discussing politics or meta-ethics, though I study neither.
