Dance Academy Nightclub new article content ... The Dance Academy was a nightclub and music venue in Plymouth, England. Predominantly the music style played was hard dance, happy hardcore and drum & bass but the club also played host to a few bands. The Club was housed in an old grade II listed theatre building formally known as the New Palace Theatre. In May 2006 a police raid took place and the club was closed down under Anti Social Behaviour Act
